Night Grove Falls: Midnight Haven

When I was injured on my last deployment, I thought moving back to Night Grove Falls was the worst thing to ever happen to me. Then I learn about the danger here in town and realize that my pack needs me and my skills now more than ever. So, I take over running the Midnight Haven, a rescue group here in town. I’m expecting to handle threats, to maybe have to get my hands dirty. What I’m not expecting is to find my fated mate.

I joined the Midnight Hven as a favor to my friend. My pack needs me, and that’s how I find myself sneaking through the woods in the middle of the night. That’s when I see them take her. I know two things in that moment. The first is that I will do whatever I can to rescue the kidnapped girl. The second is that I just found my fated mate.

I prefer to be left alone. I spend my days at my cabin, working, and that’s the way I like it. Until Vivian stumbles onto my land and collapses at my feet. It takes me a second to realize that I’ve just found my fated mate, and another second to realize that she’s in danger. So, I do the logical thing and bring her inside. I call the Midnight Haven for help and watch over her while she’s treated. She’s still in danger, though, and my bear and I will do anything to protect our mate. Now that we’ve found her, we’ll never let her go. We just need to figure out a way to tell Vivian that.
