Danny McIntyre gets an urgent call that his best friend Philip is in critical condition after a boat crashes off the shores of Aberdeen. When the doctor bears grim news that there’s a good chance that he might never walk again, even after a vital surgery. Danny, Susan, David, and Heather are forced to reconcile that with what little holiday time they have left.
Heather tries to distract them with day trips to places like Loch Ness and Perth’s galleries in order to cope with the emotional trauma.
