It emerged after a time of deep change in my life, changes that began in Australia and carried me across China, India, and Japan. Those years were filled with travel, study, practice, and long periods of reflection. They asked me to slow down, to listen more carefully, and to sit with questions that had no immediate answers.
The practices you’ll hear in this audiobook have been part of my life for many years. They’ve supported me in moments of challenge and sustained me in times of solitude. Over time, these experiences began to form a natural structure - a way of understanding mindfulness that felt lived, practical, and honest. This became the Six Circles.
I wrote this book directly from my own experience, without relying on other texts or formal models. Because of that, it isn’t a traditional mindfulness guide, even in the modern sense,
though many of the elements will feel familiar. Each chapter reflects a personal exploration of awareness, presence, and inner balance, and the guided practices extend that exploration beyond the page and into daily life.
Writing Six Circles of Mindfulness was a healing process for me. It gave language to parts of my inner world that had been shaped quietly over many years. And because it reflects what I’ve lived, taught, and shared with others, creating it was also a joy.
This audiobook offers a simple structure for something that can be difficult to define. It invites you into an inner landscape, one where you can slow down, reconnect, and begin to live with greater clarity and intention. The Six Circles have become part of how I move through the world, and it’s my hope that, in listening, they may begin to support you in your own way too.
