This Poem was written after reading a poem by William Wordsworth titled 'The Longest Day'. I checked and there had never been a poem written of the Shortest Day at the time of writing. This poem was written in the 90's and is only just getting published here now! I hope you enjoy it.

This is the newest version of 'The Shortest Day' which is bridged with new bridging verses to give it a different outlook and flavor to the poetry. It is not as compact and tight as the original but it has its own dynamics I actually prefer the bridged version, what do you think?
