Theatre Royal. The very name summons up something of grandeur and eloquence. And it was. When he asks for more food he is relegated to a workhouse where the conditions are poor. From there on, he lands in a number of uncomfortable situations including thieving gangs, though sometimes finding kind people who take pity on him. In the long run, he has a difficult life, but in the end, he emerges with good friends and peace in his life.
