Howard Phillips Lovecraft (1890-1937), known as H. P. Lovecraft, was an American writer acclaimed for his outstanding and highly influential works of horror fiction. "The Book" tells the story of a man who finds an old handwritten volume of incantations and spells which unlock the gateway to new and frightening worlds.

Jules Gabriel Verne (1828-1905) was a French novelist, poet, and playwright who is sometimes credited as the original 'Father of Science Fiction'.
