"Rory Smith has been playing bass for Blinding Light since the beginning. Sure, he left a few times temporarily, but he’s always gone back to the only life he’s really known. It was all fun and games in his twenties, but lately he wonders if there’s something more out there besides traveling show to show. Jack Vance has always been a huge fan of Blinding Light, but the real reason he goes to every show he can sneak into is to get a glimpse of their hot bass player.

His family spent a few weeks every summer either on the coast of California or in the forests of the Sierra enjoying the simple life and getting closer to nature. When Ryan Stone’s aunt asks for help with her bookstore, he leaves the city and moves to the small town of Grace, at least temporarily. He’s so busy cleaning and restocking the store he almost doesn’t notice the handsome mechanic that always seems to show up at the park at the same time he has his lunch. Every day for the past few weeks, Charlie Castle has been going to the park across the street from the auto shop, hoping for a chance to meet the new guy from the bookstore with the shock of red hair and a penchant for pink sugar cookies.

Easy Rian has been lead singer for Blinding Light since the band was formed. Through the years many things have changed. When the lead guitarist leaves mid-tour, the rest of the band is left waiting to see if they’ll continue on to Rocktoberfest, or if this is where their tour ends. Liam Tarrant has been playing guitar for as long as he can remember. When he gets the chance to audition for Blinding Light, he jumps at it. Meeting the band is surreal, especially the lead singer, Easy. Liam has always had a crush on Easy, but he never thought he’d get the chance to meet him.

Lance Karl is as ready as he can be for the start of the three-day Tall Ships Festival and hopes to sell enough lobster rolls out of his food truck to make a good start towards owning a restaurant. The day begins cold and misty and a text from his nephew saying he can’t help him is not the perfect start he’d hoped for. When a green-eyed stranger interrupts his frantic morning, Lance doesn’t realize meeting Billie will not only change his day, but maybe even the rest of his life. Two strangers, drawn together over their work ethic and sealing the deal over delicious lobster rolls.

Ryan Stone can’t wait to put his toes in the sand at the famous Bondi Beach. When he arrives after a flight that was far too long, having not slept or eaten, all he can do is stare out at the beautiful expanse of white sand and blue ocean in awe. And when a blond guy asks him to play footy, he agrees, even if he doesn’t know for sure what that is. A lot of chemistry and a little bit of luck make for an interesting day at the beach that both men are reluctant to end. Time and distance could be their biggest obstacle, but maybe some things are just meant to be.
