Once giant creatures begin to lurk too close to home, Ronin Laird must brave Earth's surface with others like him and combat horrors no ones ever seen. I couldn't help but play this book in my head like a horror/anime of epic proportions. If you're at all a fan of military sci-fi horror / mechs and anime / monsters of cosmic and eldritch origins, then you're going to want to pick this up!

In the world long before written history, Croh and his nomadic tribe are doing their best to survive. With their food gone and bodies exhausted, Croh finds a caldera. Through luck, he stumbles upon a pass through its rocky walls, leading to their salvation. Every tree and plant produces food, the lake is filled with fish, and Croh thinks he found a place where they could make a permanent home.
