When she was sixteen years old, Felicity received a diagnosis that would change her whole life, and even threatened to end it. She had the 'C' word. To be specific, she was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia, at that time an incurable form of Cancer. This is, however, a book of hope. Thanks to medical advancements, although she has not been cured, Felicity's cancer has become treatable, and many of the worst symptoms became manageable.
