Along the way, they encountered cannibals in St. Louis, Missouri, Texas Rangers in the Lone Star State, and a king in Memphis, Tennessee.

Ryan Maxwell and his family were fortunate enough to have the money to build the ultimate survival shelter and have weathered the zombie apocalypse in relative comfort. Ryan and one of his best friends, Nick Jones, have led a group through the wastes of the American Midwest down to Dallas, Texas, where Ryan’s parents were found to be alive. They’ve already made and lost new friends along the way so far.
