Lucky the Orphan takes you back in time to an orphanage in the 1980s. You will experience what it was like to a 13-year-old orphan whose everyday life would be hard for most anyone to endure. He is terrorized by at least one of the orphanage's strict nuns and by too many rough peers, but Lucky still makes friends to help him through it all.

From its launch in 1920 until its demise in 1951, the magazine Black Mask published pulp crime fiction. The first hard-boiled detective stories appeared on its pages.
