Joe, Tom and Pip are excited about spending the Easter holidays at Granny's in Muddlemoor village. They plan to climb trees, eat chocolate and loll around on Granny's sofa. But wait! They’ve forgotten that Muddlemoor is an absolute hotspot for crime. When a sign appears in Mr Draper's cow field, announcing plans for a horrible battery chicken farm, the children are outraged. They join a protest group to try to stop the farm and save the chickens. But they soon notice that Mr Draper's enemies keep getting sick. Oh no! Is Mr Draper poisoning them? And, if so, is Granny in danger?

When cousins Joe, Tom and Pip discover that a dangerous gang of robbers is hiding in the local area, they start an investigation straight away. But hang on a sec! Granny's book club seems to be acting rather suspiciously. For one thing, they don't seem to talk much about books. And they keep going on about a local bank. Oh no! What if the members of the book club are the true-life bank robbers? There's only one thing for it. The cousins must stop Granny getting arrested - even if it means putting themselves in danger.

Vic and her younger brother and sister have been left alone at home, which means trouble, because Vic and her family are pirates. The trouble is, Dad sank the family pirate ship and the family is stuck in a caravan by the sea. When the kids lose the family pirate treasure, the 'Blighty Bling', they take to the high seas in a leaky rowing boat to get it back. But then they meet their pirate enemy, Captain Guillemot....
