I have huge man problems—literally—since one of my mates is a T-Rex. Things are about to get interesting, because my day job happens to be in a museum, a museum full of dinosaur bones, if you know what I mean. It turns out my bloodline is older than dirt, and an ancestral matchmaker decided to send me some gifts…aka, men. And not just any men, but dinosaur shifters from the past.

A big part of why I moved to a remote island was to escape my mother. She wants me to get married, settle down, and pop out some grand-trophies. I’m not opposed to the idea, but every time I swipe right, I seem to end up dating hot messes or worse: suspiciously perfect guys. I want a normal guy who loves to snuggle and binge watch TV until we fall asleep in each other’s arms. Is that too much to ask? I hadn’t even finished unpacking before my mom’s housewarming gift was tossed onto my porch—an antique lamp. While checking for damage, I rubbed the lamp, and you’d never guess what came out.

I’m a kraken, but that’s a secret between you and me, okay? Don’t go betraying me or I might blame you for slaying me. Well, you and whichever trophy hunter thinks they can take me down. I’m just on land to graduate from Slaymore Academy with honors—how hard can it be? Turns out…really, really hard. Wink wink.

When the museum director throws me a bone by arranging for us to visit a fossil dig in Utah, I jump at the opportunity. I need a breather from all the craziness that has become my life since waking multiple dino shifters. A dig in Utah sounds like exactly what I need, the perfect getaway. As long as I stay away from any dino shifter bones… other than in the bedroom, of course.

I always thought I’d die crushed under the weight of my TBR pile, but my death was a plot twist I didn’t see coming. Save your sympathy! Now that I’m dead, I’m living my best freaking life. I’m free to read books for hours on end without worrying about food, rent, or, well, any interruptions. I might finally be able to get through my TBR list… maybe. The only one who can see me in my ghostly form is Wasabi, an adorable rat that lives in the library archives.

Forced to bond with a fluffle of rabbit shifters who care only for my ability to provide offspring, I've spent the last several months tucked away in a burrow. My matched wouldn't disrespect our elders by publicly rejecting me, but privately, they made their lack of feelings clear by refusing to bond with me. The only time they remembered we were paired, was when I went into heat and became fertile.

I just want a quiet life on a beach with my mates to keep me busy. Is that too much to ask? Clearly, the answer to that question is yes. Maybe it was payback for the whole punching death in the face thing. Whatever the reason, Fate enjoyed creating chaos in my life.

When I get my hands on those who betrayed me, I’m going to punt their butts over the dang moon! First, though, I need to work on escaping this dungeon while also surviving the torture by the traitors trying to steal my power. Idiots. Just wait until I get my hands on a blade. After merging with Beasty, I was left struggling to handle the onslaught of power as my dragon instincts spun out of control. I’ve been betrayed by someone I trusted, and now I’m being held in a dungeon straight out of a movie. To make matters worse, I’m in heat.

When my parents were murdered in cold blood, life became a shock in more ways than one. Obviously, my parents were sheltering me, and for good reason. Not only am I a dragoness, but there’s also a slightly insane-sounding prophecy. Something powerful has been asleep inside of me, lurking in the shadows. My spine is tingling, how about yours? I’m supposed to save the world. But first, I have a score to settle. Oh, and to fulfill the prophecy, I’m supposed to take on a mate. Or…more accurately, mates. As in, more than one. My inner beast is super-excited about it.

The Ancients’ world is under attack. The lips delivering this unexpected news to me are even more unexpected. They belong to Lokene, the charming and mischievous young man I fell in love with before my beloved Atlantis sank into the sea. The Ancients have sent him to request my aid because he’s my mate, and they think I will listen to him. Did I mention Lokene is an Ancient? Oh, and he has the ability to give me legs, and take them away, at will. I swear he’s enjoying this. If I could train my great white shark, Sheba, I’d be teaching her to nip his butt.

My billionaire dragon mate knows how to pamper a girl! Rich? Check. Hot? Check. Driving my other mates insanely jealous? Check and checkmate! Xerxes, my dragon mate, has whisked me away to Mexico. He keeps showering me with expensive gifts, breathtaking views, and lavish meals. I’m more of a cheeseburger girl, but I’m not one to complain about food. I just need to learn how to walk in heels without killing myself, again. Been there, done that.

Of course I’d wind up kidnapped. As if the jungle, viper bites, piranhas, killer bugs, and the five sexy dipstick-for-brains I saved weren’t enough, I’m now a captive of some lab coat weirdos in an experimentation facility. Another rare shifter is being held here. I can feel him. Yep, another freaking mate. In case you haven’t been counting, that makes it six fated mates…sheesh! Who did I tick off in the universe to deserve all of this? No need to send help, because I’ve got this...as soon as I find some clothes.

Thanks to a protective spell gone wrong, I am what the world calls a siren. During the horrific battle between light and darkness, as Atlantis sank beneath the waves, I was caught in some crazy magic that changed my body and put me down for a really long nap. The humans, still greedy as ever, woke me up when they stumbled on an energy source near the heart of my home. I battled alongside my Atlantean brothers and sisters as evil spread like a plague from city to city. We fought bravely, but in the end, I lost everything. I have nothing left to lose.
