The Shadow Trials continue, but Aaron is no longer alone. With Mo'han and Talia, and more new arrivals every day, the pressure is on to push further and faster than before, and Aaron isn't about to be left behind. He's going to keep pressing on, regardless of how many times he dies. The pressure gets multiplied when his patron goddess Yendal gives him a Quest: defeat Mo'han Khan. Defeating the new universe's greatest prodigy is no small task, but Aaron was never one to back down from a challenge. He's not going to lose, even if it kills him. And it is definitely going to kill him.

Aaron was always a bit of a daredevil. Motorcycles, cave diving, bungee jumping, sky diving... You name it, and if it was dangerous, Aaron was there. Then, his entire universe got pulled into a System-managed multiverse. He was skydiving at the time he was pulled into the Tutorial, so instead of getting a peaceful introduction to the System, he went splat and instantly died. Taking pity on him, the goddess in charge of his Tutorial resurrected him, but due to System restrictions, there was only one place she could send him: The Shadow Trials.

With the Gray family safe and sound, and no civilizations facing impending doom, Elise finally has time to take things slow and focus on her next evolution. To get the best possible evolution options, Oberon, the king of the fey, offers to train her. She accepts, without realizing what exactly she is signing up for. Forced outside her comfort zone, Elise has to get creative in order to move forward and improve. She takes on new identities, meets new people, makes new friends (and enemies), and overall has a rather chaotic time trying to become the best fey she can be.

Elise is finally back above ground; but she's not home free just yet. The Gray family is still missing, and their situation is a little more complicated than she first thought. The only one she can locate is Nick, the older brother, and he has been captured by the Blood Syndicate, an international crime organization headquartered in one of the most dangerous regions of the continent.

Elise was always made fun of for her big ears and buck teeth. She tried her best to overcome the mockery, only to work herself to death and wake up as... a big-eared, buck-toothed rabbit. Now, with nothing but an almost worthless System Assistant to help her, she needs to survive in a world full of magic and monsters. On top of all that, for some reason she's been given the ominous [Mark of Fate] skill. She has no idea what it does, but things keep happening to her, most of them unpleasant.
