Used to being the only horse, Jet finds it difficult to accept the addition of the newest member of the family. Jealous and hurt by how the new mare is stealing the affections of his beloved owner, Isabelle, and her sister, Charlotte, he decides to run away. He's determined to find a place where he can be the only horse and regain the love and attention he’s always had. But Jet soon begins to miss the comfortable life he’s always known, and to wonder if running away was a good idea after all.

A short collection of poems of various lengths and styles, all with one thing in common: they were written for - or about - some of the various pets my hubby and I have had. The poems in this collection are mainly about chinchillas and dogs, though other types of animals – in particular degus - sometimes make an appearance too. All poems are captioned with details of the pets they were written for or about.

Humans have forgotten the old ways, and no longer respect nature as they once did, or ask before taking what they want. They’ve forgotten about nature spirits, and the strength of the bond a dryad shares with their tree.

After losing his best friend, Arth, Tedi is so sad it feels like his heart is torn up inside of him. Now Tedi just sits by the window and cries, no longer caring about anything but how much he misses his friend, and seeing nothing of the beauty outside. Mama Bear insists things will get easier in time, but Tedi’s not so sure; Tedi believes he’ll never be happy again. And, as summer turns to autumn, and then autumn turns to winter, it’s starting to look like Tedi might be right. But is Tedi really right, or is it Mama Bear who’s right after all?

Everyone knows the mountains are full of dragons, and everyone also knows those dragons are dangerous monsters who eat people. So when the people from the town notice that one of them has a young boy with it they set out to rescue him. But Daisy isn’t like other dragons; she’s sweet and kind, and just happens to be a vegetarian. Unfortunately, the only people who know this are a 9 year old witch named Paige, and a ten year old orphan named Luke. Can Paige and Luke convince everyone else that Daisy isn’t dangerous?
