After concluding their adventures in the "Journey of Miracles," they turn their focus towards China's mysterious relics such as the Sanxingdui site, the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang, the Mogao Caves, the Himalayas, Shennongjia, Poyang Lake, and Lop Nur. During a deep-sea exploration, the vessel mysteriously lost control and was wrecked upon impact. As the crew attempted to escape, they were startled by the sight of a gigantic eye.

The story tells of a mysterious figure in black suddenly appearing on the campus of Tianjiao Elementary School, handing a scroll made of sheepskin to the leader of the Young Dragon Exploration Team, Qin Xiaolong.
