Jason started life off with three strikes against him. He was born on a sacrificial altar that his mother was sacrificed on during a Satanic Ritual. Jason's father was the leader of the satanic cult known as "Satan's 7 Demon Knights" that were conducting the ritual. Jason's mother was being sacrificed because she wanted out of her husband's satanic cult. Jason's father raised the sacrificial knife and drove it through his wife's heart as she screamed in agony.

Life was good for the Walker family. They had a hundred acre farm with plenty of livestock to keep their family's lifestyle above everyone else in town. Johnny Walker stood six feet six inches tall but was as gentle as a kitten. Johnny's wife Elizabeth was by far the prettiest woman around. The Walker's had two beautiful children Sarah and Jimmy. The children grew up fast because their father was an ex-marine in the Vietnam War and believed in hard work and didn't want to raise lazy children on his farm.

Traveling with a crocodile named Malachi, a trapeze girl named Ophelia, a strongman they call Hero (which is short for Hieronymus), and a clown named Domingo de Ybarrondo, who paints in a wagon pulled by a giant ibis bird, the troupe wanders from adventure to adventure with mythic aplomb.
