At Lake Woof, everyone has a story. Fourteen-year-old Becky lives with her emotionally abusive father, Bruce. Her mother abandoned her when she was little. Ann is still in shock over the sudden death of her college-aged son Liam. She has lost her will to live, but is tasked with caring for Liam’s Dachshund, Choco. Becky and Ann meet at the dog park, where an eclectic cast of characters sit in a gazebo and swap tales as their dogs frolic and play.
