Resumen del editor
Two 17-year-old students were gunned down by a fellow 15-year-old student in the hallways of Jefferson High School in Brooklyn, New York. Although unusual at school, it was not an uncommon occurrence in East New York City, an area where families shared their community with drug dealers. The year was 1991. Producer Maria Hinojosa talks to kids who had no protection against the violence that surrounded them, other than toting guns. In this neighborhood, a three block walk to school was deadly. Their stories have an increasing resonance today.
