The Adventures of Alibi Jones

Alibi Jones' search for a kidnapped friend gets him thrown in an alien prison cell with the mysterious Dakhur named Kit and the man known as Piccolo. As Alibi follows the alien kidnappers' trail, he discovers dangers long thought dead are still very much alive!

Alibi Jones was a Mediator for the Solar Alliance Interplanetary Force in the 2130s - but that's about to change. He's the foster son of the former leader of the Solar Alliance, and the new SA administration makes an example of him after news gets out that Alibi is partly responsible for the destruction of pleasure planet Kismet. Bounced out of his career in the Mediation Corps, Alibi's reassigned to Covert Ops. His cover: running cargo out past the colony world Depot, on the Fringe, from a new remote base - The Hornet's Nest!
